Developer Onboarding & Local Setup

Welcome to the Planovi Webpage development team. This guide outlines how to clone the repository, run the local PHP server, and verify frontend interactions.

1. Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed on your local workstation:

  • PHP: 8.2 or 8.3 with curl, json, and mbstring extensions enabled.
  • Node.js: v18+ and npm (for previewing the Docs-as-Code Starlight portal).
  • Git: Modern Git client.

2. Quick Start: Local Development Server

Because the webpage utilizes vanilla PHP and CSS, there is no heavy compile or bundling step required for the frontend.

  1. Clone the repository:

    Terminal window
    git clone https://github.com/PA-IDEAS/planovi-webpage.git
    cd planovi-webpage
  2. Launch the built-in PHP development server:

    Terminal window
    php -S localhost:8000
  3. Access the application in your browser:

3. Configuration & Environment Keys (config.php)

All application endpoints and integration credentials reside in config.php:

define('SITE_CONFIG', [
'links' => [
'panel_login' => 'https://panel.planovi.app',
'demo_booking' => 'https://calendar.app.google/fvLpMh7H3Zh6Norz7',
'status' => 'status.php',
'docs' => 'documentation.php',
// ...
],
'contact' => [
'email' => 'info@planovi.app',
'phone' => '+48 123 456 789',
'address' => 'Wodzisław Śląski, Polska'
],
'turnstile' => [
'site_key' => '0x4AAAAAAD6i5FqLtMVrP2kY',
'secret_key' => '0x4AAAAAAD6i5G9OJSxg96VLEFK04s0yPXw',
],
'supabase' => [
'url' => 'https://huaapueagfdjthltrzwq.supabase.co',
'key' => '...',
'table' => 'website_form_messages',
],
'google_chat' => [
'webhook_url' => 'https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/...',
]
]);

[!TIP] In local development, if you wish to bypass Cloudflare Turnstile token verification for automated scripts, you can point tests to Cloudflare’s always-pass test keys:

  • Site Key: 1x00000000000000000000AA
  • Secret Key: 1x0000000000000000000000000000000AA

4. Running the Documentation Portal Locally

The Docs-as-Code documentation lives in the docs/ subdirectory:

Terminal window
cd docs
npm install
npm run dev

Visit http://localhost:4321 to navigate the Starlight documentation portal.
